I think one of my favorite things about becoming a mom is all the incredible new friends we’ve made. At a certain point in my twenties, I thought I had pretty much solidified all the friends I’d have for life. But, it’s amazing how our kids have brought us together and really bonded us with some rad new friends. Most of whom I imagine (or hope!) we will continue to know in the years to come. This was a shoot with some of the new friends I speak of, and they are some of my favorites. Not only are they the most incredible parents, but they are the coolest, most driven, down to earth, hard working people you will ever meet. Not to mention, their son Cash is the cutest little dude everrrrr.
We discussed several location options for the session, and ultimately decided to ‘take a walk’. I met them at their home, hung out for a few and then we cruised the neighborhood. It was super chill (well, as chill as life can be with a toddler) and ended up being one of my favorite sessions. I love my beautiful nature-filled locations, but I also love immersing myself into your world, whatever it may be. Everything about this session felt so “them” and in turn we all loved the results.
