There are not many things I like more than capturing human connection, and especially the bond of a parent and their child(ren). Not only is this mama a super human life force to be reckoned with (everyone who knows her would agree, I assure you), but she and her son have a connection so rare and beautiful – I literally could not wait to photograph it. The way he looks at her, the calmness and patience she has with him, the playfulness and the belly laughs they shared throughout… It was simple, and easy, and really quite perfect in every way.
