Life doesn’t always go as planned, and neither do photo shoots. Kids are unpredictable, any parent will tell you. You can prepare for months, and we can place all our bets on what plan we think will work best, but you really can’t predict how it will ACTUALLY play out. Ever.
This shoot started out with a real bang. Within the first five minutes, little Leo went flying down the stairs falling head first on the gravel giving him the goose egg of the century. It’s funny now because he was okay, and you’d never really know it had I not included the images of it actually happening here, but it was stressful for a minute there. Alas, accidents happen and moods are shifty and hurdles appear, and you know what we do? We roll with it.
I’ve decided that’s my official motto, “ROLL WITH IT”. There really is no other way, much like in life. And these pictures are proof that a shoot that might feel completely chaotic in the moment, can and will result in images that feel everything but!
And to that note, in a typical “life never goes as planned” fashion, these images are not uploading in order – so you will be viewing this session from finish to start. Fun! I’m not frustrated at all! haha… but here I go… going to ROLL WITH IT because I need to feed my kids dinner. Cheers!
